Manuscript Review Process

  1. Manuscript ID Assignment: A unique ID is assigned to the manuscript by the Publisher.
  2. Technical Screening: The editorial office evaluates the manuscript for quality and adherence to journal guidelines.
  3. Editorial Assignment: The Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Manager assigns a Handling Editor with relevant expertise to the manuscript.
  4. Initial Assessment: The Handling Editor reviews the manuscript and decides whether to:
    • Reject it
    • Send it for further review
  5. Reviewer Assignment: The Handling Editor selects three experts in the subject area to review the manuscript.
  6. Peer Review: Reviewers assess the manuscript’s merits and scientific credibility, submitting their comments to the Handling Editor.
  7. Editorial Decision: The Handling Editor compiles a final report based on their own and reviewers’ comments, recommending:
    • Accepted: The manuscript proceeds to publication after final editing and proofreading.
    • Accepted with Major/Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires revisions based on reviewers’ comments, undergoing the same review process after resubmission.
    • Rejected: The manuscript cannot be resubmitted to the same journal.
  8. Publication: Accepted manuscript will be published on the Journal website with DOI number.
  9. Index: After the manuscript is published, the same data will be submitted to the respective indexing agencies.
