Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is a serious offense that involves using someone else’s work without proper attribution. This includes data, images, words, and ideas from any source, including Electronic or print materials, abstracts, seminar presentations, laboratory reports, theses or dissertations, research proposals, computer programs, online posts, grey literature, unpublished or published manuscripts

Proper Citation: It is essential to properly acknowledge and cite the source of any material used, whether directly or indirectly.

Plagiarism Detection: GARD uses iThenticate plagiarism detection software to screen all submitted manuscripts.

Consequences of Plagiarism: Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized material will not be considered for publication. We will handle cases of plagiarism according to COPE guidelines.

Note: Proper citation and acknowledgment are crucial to maintaining academic integrity and avoiding plagiarism. The plagiarism of less than 15% of the article will be considered for the review process or initial journal process.

Duplicate Submission and Publication Policy

Authors must ensure that their manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere and that it has not been previously published, including in another language. The Secondary Submissions and Publications will not be accepted (already published work/research articles other than in the English language will not be considered for the publication in English language)

Consequences of Duplicate Submission or Publication: Detection of duplicate submission or publication is considered a deliberate act and will be handled according to COPE guidelines.
