Authors’ Responsibilities
The authors need to ensure that:

  • The submitted article is original.
  • The submitted article does not contain any statement/information that is intentionally misleading or inaccurate.
  • All authors must be aware of the full content of the submitted article before submission. The content represents their contributions, and authorship is limited to those who have contributed significantly.
  • The submitted article is not previously published.
  • The work presented in the submitted article is not being considered for publication elsewhere in any form, and neither will it be submitted for such consideration while under review by IJAFSS.
  • The submitted article does not violate any privacy rights and neither infringes on any intellectual property rights or any other rights of any person or entity. The same is valid for any duty of confidentiality the author(s) may owe to a third party. The submitted article contains no material or instructions that might cause harm or injury.
  • If any portions of the work are owned or controlled by a third party, permission has to be obtained and included with the submitted article for the right to use and authorize use in print and online formats.
  • Any conflict of interest is disclosed by authors or they declare no conflict of interest.

Instructions for Authors
The International Journal of Advanced Fuzzy Sets and Systems (IJAFSS) requires all authors to strictly follow the journal’s instructions to ensure a smooth and successful submission process. Failure to comply may result in delays or rejection of manuscripts. Therefore, authors are urged to carefully read and adhere to these instructions before preparing their manuscripts. Manuscript Preparation
To ensure quality, authors are responsible for thoroughly proofreading their manuscripts for grammatical errors before submission.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review by our experienced and qualified editorial team members to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence.

Withdrawal Policy

  • The author may withdraw an article before the review process is completed.
  • Withdrawal of an article is not allowed after it is processed for publication.
  • There is no charge for the withdrawal of an article.

Refund Policy

  • Once the Article Publications Cost (APC) is paid for an accepted article, the amount will not be refunded to the authors.
  • No refunds or cancellations of publication fees for voluntarily withdrawn papers after payment.
  • No refunds for plagiarism complaints or copyright complaints.
  • No refund for indexing issues like Google Scholar, Google, etc.
  • No refunds if unsatisfied after publication.

Research Articles Guidelines
Authors are required to follow the below structure in the manuscript:

  1. Title of the article
  2. Author details with correct affiliation and official/personal e-mail
  3. Abstract: A concise summary of the research
  4. Keywords: Relevant keywords related to the study
  5. Introduction: Background information and research objectives
  6. Review of Literature: According to the paper
  7. Materials and Methods: Description of the research methodology
  8. Results: Presentation of findings, including tables and/or figures
  9. Discussion: Analysis and interpretation of results
  10. Conclusion: Summary of key findings and implications
  11. Acknowledgments: Recognition of contributors
  12. Funding Agency: Mention funding agency if any
  13. References: List of cited sources in Vancouver referencing style
  14. Appendixes: Supplementary materials, if necessary
  15. Abbreviations used: List, if necessary

Note: Research articles should not exceed 15 journal-prescribed template pages.


Other Guidelines

  • Reviews and Mini-Reviews: Comprehensive coverage, 15-page limit, editor’s discretion for exceptions.
  • Short Communications: Brief reports with high impact potential.
  • Case Reports: Unique and rare cases providing learning points.
  • Letter to the Editor: Concise, related to previously published articles or journal views.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

  • Language and Formatting: English, Aptos Display font, 1.0 spacing, A4 size, 0.5-inch margins.
  • Structure: Clear sections (Title, Abstract, Introduction, etc.), use subsections for cross-referencing.
  • References: Vancouver style, consecutively numbered.
